Here we are, 4 days until our departure and I'm sitting here wondering "what should I be remembering that I'm not? Why aren't I more stressed about this trip?" The only thing I can think of is that we travel often enough now that I've already mentally pulled mine and Angus' wardrobes out of the closet (Greg is on his own!) and packed it all up--passports, snacks, sunscreen, books/toys and all! I also feel like I've made good progress on my To-Do list, including getting some big projects off my plate that I've procrastinated about for some time (thank you, HOUSTON team!). I still would like to go get a new digital camera and I need to get Jo-Jo some food, but other than that...I feel strangely organized! Let's hope that continues!

We'll be in the Denver area with Paige's family Saturday night and then fly to Frankfurt on Sunday night. We arrive there late afternoon Monday and will drive over to Grossenseebach and Herzogenaurach to "check in" at our adidas Global home stays. It will be a long travel day but we're all excited to begin the adventure! Angus even got the thumbs up of good health today at his 18 month doctor's visit. He's officially a tall, skinny boy--he's stayed on the same weight curve since he was born but made a leap in height at his last visit from 48th to 69th percentile, which he maintained at this visit. He's also full of energy and chattering away so I know he's going to keep us all laughing and busy on the trip!

Well, better go take a look at that To-Do list again, then it is time for a run. Only a few more at altitude before we go, then lots of air at sea level in Germany!
